Thank you to those who take part in the Running for a Change initiative in Chennai. The initiative organizes running events regularly, the most prominent event being the Chennai Pink Run, which is a community-led event that relies on hundreds of volunteers each year. In fact, the event was started by a group of dedicated people in 2013 for a social cause of women empowerment & breast cancer and has been driven by a strong volunteer force ever since. In March 2013, over 100 volunteers dedicated their time and energy to help make the Chennai Pink Run a success.

Throughout the year, a special group of dedicated volunteers are the driving force behind the Running for a Change events in the Chennai. These Run Directors and committee members are true local heroes, ensuring we hold safe events and raise much needed funds for the breast cancer cause.

Are you interested in receiving information about joining our committee for 2013?  We are recruiting volunteer leaders with various skills and experience: leadership, organization, customer service, fundraising, and marketing to name a few.
